When should I use Bisolvon® Chesty Forte Tablets?
When you have a productive, chesty cough, you need to get rid of that thick, sticky mucus effectively. Bisolvon® Chesty Forte Tablets are small and easy to swallow, making them ideal for treating chesty coughs when on the go. The non-drowsy formula means you can take them when you’re working or driving.
Symptoms of chesty cough
- Sticky phlegm that comes up during persistent coughing
- A wheezing, rattling sound especially when breathing in and coughing
- Chest feels tight, heavy and/or congested
- Cough is often worse in the morning
How do Bisolvon® Chesty Forte Tablets work?
The Bisolvon® Chesty Forte range contains the single active ingredient bromhexine that thins, loosens and clears mucus from the chest to relieve stubborn chest congestion and chesty coughs.
How Bisolvon® Chesty Forte works in the lungs
Bisolvon® Chesty Forte works within the mucus itself, changing its consistency to make it thinner and less sticky. Bisolvon® also activates the tiny hairs that line the airways, called cilia, to move the unwanted mucus up and out of the lungs. This then allows the natural cough response to clear the chest
- Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet three times a day (can be increased to 2 tablets three times a day for the first 7 days).
- Children over 6 years: 1 tablet 3 times a day.
- Use in children 6 – 11 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.
- Do not use in children under 6 years.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
Small orders (less than 500g) cost $7.70 to be delivered anywhere in Australia. For larger orders, shipping costs are calculated on distance and weight (leaving Sydney) and an exact price can be obtained in the shopping cart prior to checkout.
